Our Services:

Domestic Violence Counseling

A range of services that includes the State Certified Batterer’s Intervention Program for those identified as batterers/perpetrators, assessments, victim advocacy, and individual counseling.  These services are designed to help individuals and families eliminate and minimize the risk of ongoing abusive behaviors.  This is not anger management.

Anger Management

These services are designed to help those who are experiencing stress and frustration with angry thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, which tend to cause problems in relationships, work, school, or community.  We focus on root cause issues, stress management, communication and relationship styles, self-regulation tools and techniques, and much more.

Mental Health Counseling

Mental health assessments and counseling are available.   Focus is given to depression, mood disorders, and certain prevalent personality disorders. Multi-axial diagnosis and psycho-social reports are available upon request.

Family Counseling

Counseling services are available for families and youth experiencing stress and difficulties in daily life, school, work, and social settings.

Substance Abuse Counseling

An individual assessment appointment starts the process in order to tailor an effective treatment plan.  Individual and group counseling is available. Our efforts focus on helping each individual determine for themselves the degree and nature of their issues with substance abuse.  It is never a one-size-fits-all approach.  Each individual is unique.

Parenting Classes

Parenting classes are available through the Healthy Relationships & Parenting program. LEARN MORE

Marriage Counseling

Counseling and assessments are available to couples who are struggling to connect in their relationship.

IOP (Intensive Outpatient)

This is a more intensive approach to substance abuse treatment.  It's especially useful for those who might need inpatient but have other responsibilities they can't avoid, such as work or family.  Also, a great option for people stepping down from residential and needing a meaningful aftercare program.  LEARN MORE

DUI Outpatient Programs

Driving Under the Influence (DUI) outpatient programs are available in Lexington & Georgetown.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) provides clients with new skills to manage painful emotions and decrease conflict in relationships. DBT specifically focuses on providing therapeutic skills in four key areas. First, mindfulness focuses on improving an individual's ability to accept and be present in the current moment. Second, distress tolerance is geared toward increasing a person’s tolerance of negative emotion, rather than trying to escape from it. Third, emotion regulation covers strategies to manage and change intense emotions that are causing problems in a person’s life. Fourth, interpersonal effectiveness consists of techniques that allow a person to communicate with others in a way that is assertive, maintains self-respect, and strengthens relationships.
